Kylie's Friend Birthday Party

Ok, so here are the pictures from Kylie's party.  I think that the party went pretty well, but I don't think that I planned enough for them to do.  Oh well!  We spent a lot of time just dancing and having fun.
For Kylie's cake we went to walmart and bought one of the cake top decorations that they have ($4), then I just put it on a cake that I made myself so that I did not have to go to the expense of buying one of theirs.  Further down in the pictures you can see what the decoration looks like, but I forgot to take a picture of the cake before all of the cupcakes were eaten.  Oh well!!
Girls eating cupcakes and ice cream.  Counting Kylie there were 10 girls.

As you can tell from all of the pictures I dressed them all like Hannah Montana (after Halloween steal of a deal that I just couldn't pass up)  We painted fingernails, and then played a couple of games.
Just a quick picture of my version of musical chairs, except we used stars and danced around.  Kind of like they do on the Ellen Show, without the blind folds.
These are a couple of Kylie's favorite presents.  This is a little pet shop animal that she can go online and play games with.  This has also (along with the Valentine Bear that Grandma Parsons gave her) became the animal that she has to sleep with at night.
Taylor Swift Barbie Doll.
Here are a few of the decorations that I put up all over the house.
Front of cake.
Last but not least.  Zachary and Kelly came back after the party was all over and my little man just loved playing with the balloons.  Now when you hand it to him he just lets it go and giggles, then wants you to hand it to him again.

Last Jr. Jazz Game for the Year

This was Kylie's last game for the year.  She seemed to get better each time that she played and has been talking about how she can't wait until next year so that she can do it again.
It was kind of funny and sad to watch her during the last game.  You could tell that she was totally out of steam.  She was tired and ready to volunteer to sit out every chance that she got. The sad part was that she was running up and down the floor talking to herself.  I asked her what she was saying and she said, "Well if there not going to pass me that ball then what am I doing out here?  I could be sitting down.  I wonder when they are going to pass me the ball."  She just kept doing this over and over.  Maybe next year Kelly said that we might venture into doing the coaching part so we can work with the team in playing team ball and not just I'm a boy and there is no way I am passing it to a girl team.

Her little team!  They had one girl quit after the very first game.
This is Kylie with her coach.
Zachary wanted to  continually try to go out and play while they were running up and down the court.  So when the games were over we let him just crawl all over the place.
Look at me mom!  He was fascinated with looking at the hoop.  Maybe this is a sign for the future!

Family Birthday Dinner

Here is a bunch of pictures from Dinner at the Golden Coral.  Sorry that they are not in order.  I guess I don't know how to down load them that way.  But enjoy anyway.

Trying to get Zach and Allie to sit by each other for a picture was just too funny.  One would stay and the other would crawl away.  This was one when they actually both stayed but they are looking up at someone behind me.
Zach just wanted to crawl to me so that he could try and get to the camera.
Rylee giving Zach kisses goodbye.
Nathan was trying to be sneaky and stay away from the camera.

Thank you everyone for coming and sharing in this special day for Kylie.

I love to see the Temple!

This Monday, (Presidents Day) we were able to get together with my family and go on a tour of the new Draper Temple.  Kylie was so excited to be able to go inside and see what we see when we are there.  What a great once in a lifetime experience that we are so fortunate to be able to take part of.  We invited all of our family to join us and we kind of turned it in to a family birthday celebration for Kylie.  After visiting the temple we went and ate at Golden Coral and had a little birthday party.  (See other blog entry.)

Here is Zach and Kelly on the bus ride up to the temple.  Zach thought that it was really neat that he was in a moving vehicle and not strapped down in a car seat.  He sat on my lap most of the time and looked out the window.
Kylie was sitting with her cousins on the bus.  She doesn't get to spend as much time with them as she would like to so she always has fun when they can get together.

Congratulations Jesi!

My cousin Jesi ran for Miss CEU on Thursday and she won.  I wish that I could have been there to see her.  My mom told me that she did a great job!
Way to go Jesi!

Sleepy Boy

Zachary was so tired that he started to fall asleep during dinner.  He has been sleeping very poorly the last 3 nights and any sleep that he can get is much needed.  His poor little eye on the left side is red and swollen and we are wondering if he has an ear ache.  So after school today we are going to go and get him checked out.

This picture was taken right after he started to fall asleep but he saw that I had the camera in my hand so he perked up a little.

He didn't want to miss a bite and kept eating until I turned the water on to get a wash cloth.  After cleaning him up he fell asleep as I walked toward his bedroom.  Too bad that the nap only lasted for 25 minutes though and he woke up screaming and crying.  Poor kid! I hope we figure out what the problem is so that we can all get a good nights sleep.
