Here are a couple pictures of the fire just outside of Scipio from a couple of weeks ago. I guess when Jodi and Scott went through the night before they were the last car to get through before they blocked off the road. This is what was still burning the next morning. (Sunday)
This picture was taken closer to Scipio, when you turned around you could see the path that the fire had made along the hill side.
