First Day of School and Daycare

So today was the first day back to school.  Kylie said that she had a really good day and that she really likes her new teacher.

FYI the cute little head band with the flower on it is one of the things that I won on Give Away Today.  She just had to wear it on her first day to school.

It was also Zach's first day in Daycare now that daddy is working.

Tammy said that he did really good, and he never even cried. 

One of the funny things is, is that Kelly forgot to take him with a binky too, so that shows what a big little boy I have.

16 month picture

Here area  a few pictures I was able to snap last night of my big 16 month old.

He is also sporting his new hair cut that we got during the weekend thanks to cousin Jesi.

Here Zach is showing me how to read a new book.

Mom was saying cheese so I had to give her a look like I was really saying it.

Doesn't he kind of look like Uncle Kalen when he was that little.

16 months

Zach turned 16 months old today.  I can not believe how big he has gotten.  He is such a toddler now too.  He just wants to do everything that everyone else is doing (especially his big sis).

He now weighs 25.5 pounds, and has a little man hair cut that is just adorable on him.  Once again I will have to take pics.

I won again!

No way I won again on Give Away Today!  This never happens to me.  I will have to take pictures when I receive them.  I will also take pictures of the necklace that I won earlier and post it as well.

Hair Bow Frames

I saw this great idea on one of the blogs that I frequently visit.  The blog is called UCreate and she always has such great ideas on there.  You should check it out sometime.

So I went to the DI and found a variety of frames that I thought would work for the project.  I tried to find funky ones like in the example at UCreate but they were a little more pricey and a lot bigger than what I had in mind for Kylie's room.

I took them outside and spray painted them pink.  (This was Kylie's choice of color.)  But it turned out cute.

Here is the final version of one of them all finished and hanging on the wall with some of Kylie's bows.  After they were all painted she had a hard time deciding which one she wanted.

24th of July

I found some long lost photo's from the 24th.

Zachary waiting for the parade to start.  He talked grandpa into buying him a balloon.  Although there really wasn't any talking.  It was more pointing and grunting.
