Merry Christmas 2008!

This year we were able to have my mom and dad come up and share Christmas with us in Coalville.  It was fun to have them, and we always wish that they could stay with us longer.  But I guess we have to share them with everyone else too.  Here is a picture of everyone on Christmas Day.
This picture was actually taken on Christmas Eve.  Kylie pulled some really wierd face for the camera, so I just had to share it with everyone.
Kylie and Zachary after they opened their new pj's on Christmas Eve.
Zachary and one of his many new toys.  He has finally figured out how it works, I have more fun pics that I will add later of this one including a video if I can.

Kylie did this funny little dance when she saw that she got Camp Rock Barbie Dolls for Christmas.

Kylie's School Christmas Program

I am going to try to catch up on a few blogs all at once here, so bear with me for those of you who our following our family.
This year our school did a program called Around the World at Christmas Time.    Each grade level was assigned a different country to sing about.
Here is Kylie dressed as Santa Lucia.  I can't remember the country, but the oldest daughter in the family is in charge of delivering breakfast to all the other members of the family and she wears something similar to what the girls are wearing in this picture.
Here they got to play the kazoo during the song of All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth.
There were a lot of kids for the final performance.  This picture does not begin to show all of the kids on the stage.  Can you see Kylie?

Family Christmas Party

This past weekend we got together for the Brian Christmas Party at Scott and Jodi's in Aurora.  We had fun being able to just sit and visit with each other, enjoy a good meal, and play games with presents.  Santa surprised the kids with a visit and a little treat.
Zachary was not impressed with Santa. He looks like he is saying help!  He did pretty good though.  Kylie screamed like crazy when she was this age.
Rylee did not want to sit on Santa's lap, and little bit of time that she was there we could not get a picture of her.  So here is one of her just standing there looking cute.
Nathan made sure to tell Santa that he was being a good boy this year!
Kylie drew a blank when she sat on his lap.  She forgot what she was going to ask for.  When he left she asked us if she was going to see him again cause she remembered what she was going to ask for.
Kinsey didn't want to be on Santa's lap either.  She also wasn't feeling too well either.
JJ was told by Santa that he had been talking to JJ's teacher.  Oops!
Grandma Brian was pretty lucky. Santa brought her Celine Dion tickets for Christmas.
Allie just sat and stared at him.
The group of kids.  Kinsey and Rylee did not want to be in this picture too much either.

Ovard Family Pictures

On Saturday we went to Kiddie Kandids to get some family pictures taken.  For what didn't seem like a very busy place on a Saturday before Christmas it sure did take us a while to get in to take pics.  By the time we were ready, (or should I say they were ready) Zachary did not want to have anything to do with sitting down and taking a picture. That we actually got a picture of him not screaming is amazing.
This is the last shot that we took.  Another lady came in at the very end and she was able to help cheer Zach up for this cute smile.  It's funny but it probably ended up being the most uncomfortable picture to pose for, but it turned out cute.

I just love this one of Kylie.  I can not believe how big she is getting.
You got to love that open mouth smile.
Look at the size of those feet!  Can you believe at 7 months he is wearing a size 4?
We also discovered yesterday that tooth #4 is almost all the way in.
This was the first shot they took.  Zachary kept scooting around on his bottom to turn around to look at Kylie.

Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with all of the Parsons clan.  We all met in Green River on Wednesday for the big day.  On Friday all of the girls took off to Grand Junction to try to get some shopping done for Christmas.  Thankfully we did not leave until shortly after 7:00.  The last time we went it was more like 3:30 in the morning.  Saturday we went out along the river to have family pictures taken.    It took us a couple of tries but between everyones camera I think that we got some good shots.
Here of course is the whole Parsons clan.
Our little Ovard family.
Check out my SIL's blogs for more photo's of the weekend.  I was getting to impatient for all the pictures to download.
