Cheer Camp

Kylie just finished up her summer cheer camp.  I wasn't able to get too many pictures because she always seemed to be standing in the back of the group.  Here are a couple that I was able to get though.

She always has fun cheering, and looks forward to being able to go and dance at the football game in the fall to perform.

Basketball Man

Zachary is starting to discover toys.  When we first handed him the basketball he wasn't too sure about it, but when we hand it to him now he puts it right to his mouth, just like everything else.  Zach is going to be the total opposite of Kylie.  She didn't put anything in her mouth, and Zach puts everything in his.

Home from Canada!

Greg, Heather, and Allie, made it home from their long trip to Canada.  They stopped by to visit with us on their way home.  Zachary and Allie have changed so much.

We went out to dinner at a place called the Spring Chicken Inn in Wanship and the funniest thing happened.  Zachary was being a little fussy so this lady come over to our table and asks if she can hold him, cause she thought that he needed a grandma's touch to settle down.  Then her friend that was with her got a little jealous so she came over and asked if she could hold Allie.  It was just too cute. They were walking around the little restaurant talking to all of the tables, (not that they really knew everyone or anything, and not that we really know them either)  the next thing you know Zachary has fallen asleep on her shoulder.  Heather and I both commented that, that had never happened to either of us before.  To have a complete stranger come up and ask if they could hold the baby.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July in Henefer with Kelly's family.  This was the only picture I got of the fireworks, because Zachary and I slept through the rest of them.  We had fallen asleep about an hour before, and I just figured that he would take one of his short naps, and then we would be up again, but nope.  And when I heard the first boom go off, I just looked at my sleeping bundle of joy, saw that he was still asleep and did the same.

I had Kylie at least stand close to Zachary so he could see the light of the sparkler.

This picture was taken during the parade.  It was a really short parade this year.
From left to right the cousins go as follows:
Back row; Derek(18), Tyson(15), Whitney(12)
Front row; Drew(7), Kameron(10), Kayden(6), Kylie(6), Aubrey(6), and Trista(4)
(If I messed up any of the ages, sorry, let me know and I will fix them.)
Not pictured of the Ovard cousins; Zachary (2 months) Alex (15)

Zoo

Kelly's sister Robyn and her family came down from Michigan for a couple of weeks and it is always a tradition to take the kids to the zoo.  This was Zachary's first trip to the zoo, not that he really got anything out of it.  But, that's ok the older kids had fun.
The famous train ride.
Kylie got to ride on the new carousel.

Memory Tag

My SIL Mandy did this tag on her blog and I thought it was pretty fun.

Here are the rules:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! (Please remember that my mom will be reading this!)

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

Zachary's Blessing Day!

We would like to thank everyone who was able to join us for Zachary's special day.  With everything that was going on I forgot to get out my camera.  Stupid me!!!  I feel so dumb, and now I don't have anything for his scrapbook, not that I have started one yet.
So here is a couple of cute pictures that I had taken at Kiddie Kandid's thanks to Kelly's mom, in his blessing outfit.
